This Privacy Notice explains how Joinix collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use our app and related services. Joinix is a hydration reminder and gentle check-in app that helps users set water goals, track drinking progress, view summaries, and save or share result cards. We designed the app to work with minimal input and to keep user data handling limited to what is necessary for providing the service.
By using Joinix, you understand that some information may be stored in your account history, some content may be processed to generate your hydration results, and certain technical data may be collected to keep the app running safely and reliably.
Information you provide directly: You may enter body weight, activity level, daily water goal, reminder interval, single drinking records, and other hydration-related preferences. You may also choose to upload a cover photo, cup photo, or check-in image. If you contact us for support, you may provide your email address and the contents of your message.
Automatically collected information: We may collect device and app information such as device model, operating system version, app version, crash logs, diagnostic data, usage events, and basic performance information needed to maintain and improve the app. We may also collect identifiers required for app functionality, account/session management, or purchase verification.
Cookies and similar technologies: If any web-based pages, embedded content, or purchase-related pages are used, cookies or similar technologies may be used for basic functionality, session management, security, and preference storage. We do not use cookies for advertising profiling.
Joinix is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If we learn that information from a child under 17 has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it as soon as practicable. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us at the address listed below.
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade user data.
We do NOT share any user-uploaded or user-generated content with any third party.
We do NOT use any third-party AI services to process user data. All AI processing is performed exclusively on our own internal servers.
We may use limited third-party infrastructure providers for cloud storage, server hosting, backup, or basic technical operations only. These providers act solely on our behalf and under our instructions, are bound by contractual obligations to protect data security, and are not permitted to use user data for any purpose beyond what we instruct.
Such third parties do not use data for advertising, user profiling, AI training, model optimization, their own purposes, redistribution, or independent access to user content.
We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or valid governmental request, or if necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, our company, or the public.
Your information may be processed and stored in different regions or countries where we, our service providers, or our infrastructure systems operate. Data protection laws in those locations may differ from the laws in your jurisdiction. Where required, we take steps intended to provide appropriate safeguards for such transfers and processing.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, update, delete, or export your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and to object to or restrict certain processing where applicable.
You may manage some information directly in the app, including editing profile or hydration data, removing uploaded images, deleting history items, or deleting your account if that option is available. Joinix may use AI-based processing to generate hydration summaries, result cards, reminders, or related content features. All AI processing occurs only on our own internal servers.
We do NOT use third-party AI services. We do NOT send user data to external AI providers for processing. We do NOT use user data for AI training or model optimization. Any temporary processing data used to generate a result is deleted after processing is completed, unless it is saved in the user’s own history as part of the app’s normal function.
AI outputs are generated to support the app’s hydration and check-in features and are not used to create user profiles for advertising or unrelated purposes.
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, features, legal requirements, or security measures. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice in the app or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of Joinix after an update becomes effective means you accept the revised notice.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to help protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures may include access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, secure storage practices, least-privilege access, logging, and monitoring. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We use information only for purposes related to providing and operating Joinix, including hydration goal setup, reminder functionality, result generation, history display, user support, purchase handling, app stability, and service security.
We do NOT use user data for AI training.
We do NOT use user data for advertising.

Uploaded content: If you upload photos or other files, they are deleted after processing unless you choose to save them as part of your history or result record.
Generated results: Result cards and hydration summaries may be stored in your history so you can view, copy, share, or delete them later. You may delete these items at any time through the app where available.
Temporary processing data: Temporary data used to complete AI or rendering tasks is deleted after the task is finished, unless required for immediate app functionality or saved by the user in history.
Crash logs: Crash logs and diagnostic records may be retained for up to 12 months for debugging, reliability, and security purposes.
Support messages: Support communications may be retained for up to 6 months after the matter is resolved, unless a longer period is required by law or to resolve a dispute.
We may retain information for longer periods where required by law, to enforce our agreements, to resolve disputes, or to protect the safety and integrity of the service.
Joinix does not perform facial recognition, biometric identification, or biometric analysis. We do not create face templates or use face data to identify or verify a person. If a user uploads an image, it is treated as general user content and, if processed, is handled only for the purpose of providing the app’s requested features. Any such uploaded image is deleted after processing unless saved by the user in history.
By downloading, accessing, or using Joinix, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Notice and agree to the collection, use, processing, and storage practices described here. If you do not agree with this Privacy Notice, please do not use the app.
